SONO TAZZA DI TE! 100 smashing women designer

After the success achieved during the last Design Week in September 2021, the exhibition curated by Anty Pansera - historian and critic of design and applied arts and Compasso d'Oro alla Carriera - and Patrizia Sacchi, communication designer, showcases a selection of pieces already exhibited in Milan to which are added other creations signed by Vietri women "artiere".

The exhibition will take place in the frescoed, nineteenth-century hall of the Town Hall of Vietri sul Mare, which in the eighteenth century belonged to the noble D'Avossa family.

The title - SONO TAZZA DI TE! - plays on ambiguity and makes fun of the classic phrase "I'm crazy about you!", to signify the passion, the curious and ingenious spirit that characterizes female creativity that has been unleashed on an object of common use, a "simple" cup ... not only tea in this case!

Yes, because the personality and eclecticism of the artisans involved are reflected in the plurality of cups on display, very different both in materials and in the functions they acquire. In most cases, in fact, they transcend the classic use, to become a real unique piece with a decorative character and a conceptual and archetypal meaning.
