Description

Amalfi has opening for a Senior Design Engineer responsible for leading the specification, design and test strategy for critical blocks, and supporting/contributing to layout activities.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Responsible for leading the specification, design, and test strategy for critical blocks, and supporting/contributing to layout activities.
• Work with other members of a multi-disciplined team in estimating tasks, identifying risks and planning verification strategies. 
• Recommend, evolve, and enforce development methodology consistent with the needs of the organization.
• Participate in IC/RFIC system, specification, design and layout reviews.

Specific Qualifications and Skills Include:

• BS or foreign degree equivalent in Electrical and Computer Engineering/ Electrical Engineering and 5 years of related experience.
• Ability to design, verify and supervise layout of analog circuits. 
• Ability to use mixed-mode simulation methodologies and tools including Mentor-AMS, Cadence Spectre and Hspice. Ability to design, run verification and supervise layout of RF circuits in CMOS.
