Description

Amalfi Semiconductor is looking for a Senior Analog Design Engineer to join our Engineering Team.  In this role you will be responsible for senior contributions in the specification, design, development and test of critical analog blocks in the company's innovative mixed signal products.

Responsibilities Include:

• Working with other Senior members of a multi-disciplined team in estimating tasks, identifying risks and planning verification strategies.
• Leading the specification, design, and test strategy for critical blocks, and supporting/contributing to layout activities
• Recommend, evolve and enforce development methodology consistent with the needs of the organization
• Participate in IC/RFIC system, specification, design and layout reviews.

Specific Qualifications Include:

• BSEE, MSEE or PhD preferred
• A minimum of 5 years experience in analog IC design, of which a minimum of 2 years as a key contributor/lead on a mixed signal team
• Strong background in continuous-time filter design, with emphasis in low-noise, high linearity, low power, and high order of filtering (e.g 5th or above)
• Experience in designing high-performance (14-bit or above) delta-sigma ADC/DAC
• Well-rounded experience in designing opamps, regulators, PLL, and miscellaneous analog circuits
• Solid foundation in device matching, loop stability, layout techniques, DC current source design and parasitic extraction
• Familiar with CMOS IC design
• Experience with off-chip components and IC/RFIC/block characterization strategies
• Strong communication skills and demonstrated success in working with multi-disciplined teams
• Proven ability to set and meet development milestones
• A self-starter and strategic thinker, with demonstrated success in a small company environment
