Mr. Foley has over 28 years of experience as an entrepreneur and high tech executive. Most recently Mr. Foley was the CEO of Nutune, a JV between NXP and Technicolor that designed, manufactured and sold tuner modules for TVs and set-top boxes.
Prior to Nutune Mr. Foley's career was spent in the communications semiconductor industry where he was most recently the President and Chief Operating Officer for Entropic Communications, a fabless semiconductor company that offers home networking chips based on the MoCA standard. Mr. Foley came to Entropic when a company he co-founded, RF Magic, merged with Entropic Communications and subsequently completed a successful IPO. As the CEO and President of RF Magic he raised three rounds of Venture and Strategic financing and built a successful company around the vision of enabling the consumer electronics industry with highly integrated Radio Frequency Integrated Circuits. RF Magic is credited with bringing innovative “world’s first” products to market and delivering them in high volume.
Prior to starting RF Magic Mr. Foley held various marketing management and technical management positions at Conexant and ComStream where he led the specification and development of numerous baseband and RF products for the Satellite and Cable industries.
Early in his career Mr. Foley held design engineering and field sales positions at Adams Russell Electronics and Ford Aerospace.

Prior to joining Amalfi, Mr. Hildebrand served as Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Finance for Volterra Semiconductor, a provider of power management semiconductors for computer, storage, networking, and consumer electronic equipment. Mr. Hildebrand joined Volterra at its inception and held various financial and management positions with a wide range of responsibilities. He was instrumental in growing the company from a small research team to a multi-national manufacturer and publicly traded company and was responsible for leading Volterra's initial public offering in July 2004.

Baker Scott - Chief Technology Officer
Mr. Scott is the Chief Technology Officer for Amalfi Semiconductor. He has over 25 years engineering and management experience in the mixed-signal semiconductor industry. Before joining Amalfi, Mr. Scott was the Senior Director of Engineering and Design Center Manager for RF Micro Devices (RFMD) where he led the development of transceiver architectures and power management integrated circuits for 3G-wireless technology. read more.

Additional engineering and management positions held by Mr. Scott include Vice President of Engineering for the magnetic read channel and network products at Cirrus Logic, Design Manager for the CMOS data conversion products at Crystal Semiconductor, and various other design and management positions at Siliconix and Burr Brown.

Mr. Weyer has over 25 years experience in high technology marketing, business development and business operations. Prior to Amalfi, Mr. Weyer was Vice President of Worldwide Marketing at OmniVision Technologies, a leading developer of advanced imaging solutions. Under his marketing leadership, OmniVision gained significant CMOS image sensor share in the smart phone, consumer entertainment, computing and automotive markets resulting in revenue growth from $500M to over $950M in four years.
Prior to OmniVision, Mr. Weyer held senior director positions in marketing and worldwide business operations at Xilinx, director positions in marketing and business development at Actel Corporation and also held marketing and engineering positions at AMD and Lockheed Missiles & Space Company.

Derek Best - Vice President of Worldwide Sales
Mr. Best joined Amalfi with over 31 years of international Sales and Marketing experience in the Semiconductor industry. Mr. Best joined Amalfi with over 31 years of international Sales and Marketing experience in the Semiconductor industry. Mr Best has held a number of executive and senior management positions in various companies, heading up their sales and marketing organizations in the European and North American markets.
From 1997 to 2010 Mr Best was the Senior Vice President at Silicon Storage Technology, Inc (SST), responsible for building and running a Sales and Marketing organization World Wide. SST was a $400M public company and world leader in the design and high volume manufacture of NOR Flash, NAND Flash controllers, solid state drivers, Microcontrollers and wireless Power Amplifier technology. He was part of the SST executive team that raised $240M in working capital through various institutions and investors in the year 2000. During his tenure at SST, Mr Best gained substantial Sales and Marketing knowledge of the Asian markets, working with all the major and blue chip OEM and ODM customers.
Prior to SST, Mr Best was the cofounder and Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Mosaic Semiconductor. He also held senior sales and marketing positions at Texas Instruments, Hitachi Semiconductor, (Europe), EDI and MicroModule Systems (MMS).

Alireza Shirvani - Vice President of Engineering
Dr. Alireza Shirvani brings 15 years of experience in innovation, technology development, product and engineering management to Amalfi. He is an established authority in the area of radio-frequency power amplifier design, and has been recognized in the technical community through numerous awards, published books, articles and patents. read more.
Dr. Alireza Shirvani brings 15 years of experience in innovation, technology development, product and engineering management to Amalfi. He is an established authority in the area of radio-frequency power amplifier design, and has been recognized in the technical community through numerous awards, published books, articles and patents.
Prior to Amalfi, Dr. Shirvani was the director of engineering at Ralink Technology, where he led the development of highly integrated wireless transceivers for WLAN. Before Ralink, he spent eight years at Marvell Semiconductor, most recently as the Senior Director of Engineering, managing the RF and analog development of WLAN products. The innovative SoC products he developed at Marvell were among the most successful communication chips in the history of Marvell, where he oversaw the launch to market of more than ten products shipping over 300 million units.
Earlier in his career, Dr. Shirvani held engineering positions at Tavanza, Lucent and Intel. Dr. Shirvani holds M.S. and Ph.D degrees in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology. He is the author of Design and Control of RF Power Amplifiers, recipient of the IEEE Journal of Solid State Circuits Best Papers Award, and the inventor of 15 awarded and pending patents.

Mr. Wark is Vice President of Operations for Amalfi Semiconductor. He has over 30 years operation management experience in the semiconductor industry, overseeing industry supply chains, product and test engineering, quality assurance, and production control. read more.
Mr. Wark is Vice President of Operations for Amalfi Semiconductor. He has over 30 years operation management experience in the semiconductor industry, overseeing industry supply chains, product and test engineering, quality assurance, and production control.
Prior to joining Amalfi, Mr. Wark was Vice President of Operations at Volterra, a provider of power management semiconductors for computer, storage, networking, and consumer electronic equipment. Mr. Wark built and led an operations team in support of $75 million in annual revenue and developed and managed the implementation of a scalable planning infrastructure that was instrumental in enabling the company's approximate 50% growth per year. Mr. Wark was also a member of the executive staff that led Volterra to a successful initial public offering (IPO) in July 2004.
Mr. Wark worked at Pericom Semiconductor as Vice President of Operations before Volterra. During his tenure at Pericom, the company achieved a successful IPO and secondary offering. Mr. Wark also was the Director of Corporate Services at Linear Technology and Managing Director of Linear Technology Pte Ltd in Singapore.
